As what will not likely come as much of a surprise, the VBWIM board has made the decision to postpone Feast from May 1, 2020, until May 7, 2021. We hope to utilize the planning and preparations already done this year for our gathering next year, including using our theme “Connected!”
Connection had taken on a whole new meaning since we selected it as our theme several months ago, given the very loving responsibility we have in this present moment to socially distance ourselves. We are reminded that even as we are canceling and postponing and reimagining plans, we are still the church, we are still connected, and we are not alone, truths that are perhaps being realized and lived out in new and important ways.
