We will hear sermons from Christy Foldenauer, Discipleship Pastor at Gayton Baptist; Nancy Stanton McDaniel, Pastor at Rhoadesville Baptist; Ayuko White; and our seminarian preaching award winner, Britni Johnson.
Optional early bird feasting, “Affirming the Woman’s Call Through Scripture” led by Scott Spencer, will take place at River Road from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
A dessert reception will conclude our evening as we celebrate with Judith Bledsoe Bailey the publication of her book, Strength for the Journey: Feminist Theology and Baptist Women Pastors.
Feast gathers us to nurture our creative, caring, spiritual selves through our very presence. We will gather together at table to enjoy a beautifully prepared meal, feast through sermons and our voices in worship, and delight using our senses through a diverse musical experience. Come, enjoy, and share the tastes of the day.
