The national BWIM is excited to host its first in-person Annual Gathering since 2019! The in-person event will take place at Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, while there will also be online portion so that those who cannot attend in person will be able to participate as well.
The theme quote for the 2022 Annual Gathering is from Dr. Maya Angelou, “When you know better, you do better.” Our time together at Annual Gathering will be an encouragement toward finding ways to respond to Dr. Angelou’s sage wisdom, and not only grow in knowing better, but also to do better in creating environments for women in ministry to thrive.
As we did last year, VBWIM is once again hosting a Zoom watch party for the BWIM Annual Gathering. It will begin at 1:45pm EDT, June 28, 2022, with 30 minutes of informal connecting before watching the Annual Gathering worship service together. We’ll take a few moments to debrief together after the benediction. Door prizes will be awarded in each watch party. When you register you can choose which watch party you would like to attend (we hope you select ours!), or select the final option and BWIM will assign you to a watch party.
